Teacher of Voice
Voice Tuition
“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.”
― Albert Einstein
With nearly 25 years experience as a vocal educator, teaching privately and in schools, colleges and universities, I work with students to approach and investigate vocal and musical ideas to delve into not just the how, but the why we sing.
I am particularly interested in working across genre and style, as appropriate, to maximise vocal health, energy, flexibility, resilience and ultimately, expression.
As a competent accompanist and coach, lessons can focus on preparation for exams and auditions, solo role or ensemble part preparation or simply singing for pleasure!
